Taking to the water in a closed cockpit craft can be a daunting part of anyone\u2019s paddling progression. Using a spraydeck is essential for those looking to push their paddling on; owning a spraydeck that you can fully trust is an absolute must-have.<\/p>\n

Spraydecks are required to do three things; be able to fit the cockpit, stay dry and most importantly, release without issue when required.<\/p>\n

This unique release tag is what really separates this spraydeck from others. The unassuming release tag at first glance looks like any other ordinary webbing handle, however with the clever integration of a low profile, tri slide buckle the EZ Deck releases with the lightest of pulls.<\/p>\n

Tradition shockcord style decks require the user to pull the release handle forwards and up to release well. This movement stretches the shockcord away from the underside of the cockpit rim and allows the rest of the deck to release.<\/p>\n

This kind of movement simply isn\u2019t an option for those that lack the arm span, strength or presence of mind when the spraydeck really needs to be released!! The EZ Lever however allows the paddler to simply pull back on the release tag, as the tri slide adjusts the natural leverage pull point of the shockcord, the deck releases without the need of a forward pull, superhuman upper body strength or a conscious decision.
