Why should the Nitro WW win:

There is no paddle on the market that gives you that strength and power with no fludder on a straight shaft paddle.

The Nitro LCS 70 Extrem is still the rediscovery of the straight shaft and is almost as good as a Lettmann Ergonom. Now in the strongest version we ever built, it only weighs 980 g. The pressure build-up is very even, the pressure point moves forward, and the typical fluttering of a straight paddle is not existing.

Of course, the Nitro also works according to the principle of the “hydrodynamic lift”. This additionally stabilizes the blade in the water and – with a reduced blade area – ensures better, more even, and more efficient pressure build-up than with a paddle with a classic straight shaft.
